- With the advancement of AI technology, the management and utilization of network and IP resources have become more critical. Intelligent network systems can improve efficiency, strengthen security protection, and promote optimal allocation of resources. However, this also raises concerns about the fairness of resource allocation, privacy protection, and the security risks that intelligent systems may bring. This symposium will discuss in depth the application, challenges and opportunities of AI in network and IP resource management and explore how to use AI to promote technological development while ensuring the security and stability of the network ecosystem.

- 新通用頂級域名（gTLDs）計劃於2012年開始，使域名系統（DNS）進行了最大規模的擴展。開放下一輪申請以納入更多頂級域名的目標預計將於2026年第二季開始。這一場次，講者將分享營運和實際工作的進展，以及下一輪開放的關鍵里程碑。包括申請支援計劃、地理名稱申請考量因素，以及關於減輕與國際化域名（IDNs）相關的安全問題的倡議。
- The new Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs) Program began in 2012, enabling the largest expansion of the Domain Name System (DNS). The next round of applications to enable even more top-level domain names is targeted to open in Q2 2026. In this session, speakers will share progress on operational and implementation work as well as key milestones towards the Next Round. This includes the Applicant Support Program, geographic name application considerations, and initiatives on mitigating security issues relating to Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs).

- Following part 1 on “New gTLD Program: Next Round”, this session will zoom into the topic of IDNs— domain names in local scripts/languages. The session will share current work and expected next steps for topics related to the Han script and Chinese IDNs, including topics such as the management of variant at 2nd level and top-level, as well as single character Top-Level Domains for Han script.

- 本場次將討論減緩網路安全衝擊上可用來強化的工具和倡議。講者將分享關於註冊資料請求服務（RDRS）的資訊，這是一個供請求者（執法機構、智慧財產社群和網路安全機構）請求存取與通用頂級域名（gTLDs）相關的非公開註冊資料的概念性驗證服務。講者還將討論最近與gTLD受理管理機構和註冊管理機構的合約修訂，加強減輕和阻止DNS濫用的義務。
- This session will discuss available tools and initiatives to enhance cybersecurity mitigation efforts. Speakers will share about the Registration Data Request Service (RDRS), a global proof of concept service for requestors– law enforcement, intellectual property community, and cybersecurity agencies– to request for access to nonpublic registration data related to generic top-level domains (gTLDs). Speakers will also discuss the recent contractual enhancements with gTLD registrars and registry operators, strengthening obligations to mitigate and disrupt DNS abuse.

- 在本次會議中，我們將邀請ICANN和TWSIG的代表，以及在地APIGA的主辦機構NIIEPA和APIGA的校友，分享他們在培養和激勵青年參與網路治理經驗。希望台灣在地的APIGA能夠成為網路治理青年參與的有益補充，而非取代現有的平台和活動。我們還想邀請參與者分享他們對如何在本地、區域和全球擴展和強化青年參與網際網路治理討論的想法和回饋。
- In this session, we will have representatives from ICANN and TWSIG, along with NIIEPA, the organizer of the local APIGA, and APIGA alumni, to share their experiences of cultivating and motivating youth participation in Internet Governance. Instead of taking over existing platforms and activities, we hope the local APIGA Taiwan will be a beneficial addition to the youth engagement effort regarding Internet Governance. We would also like to invite participants to share their thoughts and feedback on how to expand and strengthen youth involvement in Internet Governance discussions locally, regionally, and globally.
