The Policy SIG charter is to develop policies which relate to the management and use of Internet number resources within Taiwan. These include policies for resource allocation and transfer, and for resource registration within whois, RPKI and related services.

本次爐邊對談（Fireside Chat）探討女性在 DNS 及網路產業中的參與及影響，探討她們如何在技術決策、政策制定及產業創新中發揮重要作用。透過輕鬆而深入的對話，將呈現女性在技術、政策、治理及產業發展中的貢獻，同時討論女性在此領域面臨的挑戰。

本場次活動希望促進各界利害關係人的跨領域合作，推動 DNS 及網路相關產業的多元與共融，鼓勵來自不同背景的專業人士積極投入與貢獻。Taiwan DNS Women 平台也致力於串聯國內外資源與機會，確保女性不僅能參與，更能在產業決策過程中扮演關鍵角色。

透過整合資源與拓展人脈，女性在 DNS 領域及相關網路產業中將有更多機會參與政策制定、驅動創新，並推動產業的公平發展。此對談也將強調女性在領導職位中的重要性，探討如何透過組織或社群機制，提升女性在技術及政策決策層面的能見度。

此外，會議將鼓勵年輕女性投入科技與商業領域，透過合作與支持，培育未來的女性領袖。

This Fireside Chat focuses on women's participation and impact in the DNS industry, exploring how they contribute to technical decision-making, policy development, and industry innovation. Through dialogue, it highlights women's contributions in technology, policy, governance, and industry development while addressing existing challenges. By fostering cross-sector collaboration among stakeholders, it aims to promote diversity and inclusiveness within the DNS industry, encouraging professionals from different backgrounds to engage and contribute.

The Taiwan DNS Women also serves as a platform for connecting resources and opportunities on both local and global levels, ensuring that women are not only involved in the industry but also play a crucial role in decision-making. By integrating resources and building networks, women can expand their influence, actively participate in policy-making, and drive innovation and fair development within the DNS sector.

Additionally, the importance of supporting women in leadership positions is critical to the development of the Internet and examines how organization and community mechanisms can enhance women's visibility in technical and policy-related decision-making. It also encourages young girls and women to pursue careers in business and technology, fostering future female leaders through collaborative efforts and support initiatives.

This session will adopt a Fireside Chat format, emphasizing casual yet in-depth conversations. Unlike traditional panel discussions, this event will focus on personal growth stories and shared experiences, allowing participants to gain insights from frontline female professionals in the DNS industry.
